Stainless Steel Oil Filter Thread Extension
This stainless steel oil filter thread extension, also known as an oil filter thread extender, is designed to connect a compatible Insane Diesel billet oil filter sandwich plate to the engine’s oil filter housing.
Each engine and oil filter housing requires the correctly matched thread size. Select the appropriate variant for your application and compatible Insane Diesel oil filter sandwich plate.
This is an individual replacement or component part. The billet oil filter sandwich plate, bypass oil filter, hoses, and other system components are not included.

Fitment Information
Thread size alone does not guarantee vehicle or engine compatibility. Confirm the required oil filter housing thread size and compatible sandwich plate before ordering.
Customers who need both matched components should purchase the complete vehicle- or engine-specific Oil Filter Sandwich Plate and Adapter rather than selecting the components separately.
Important Installation Instructions
- Replace the sandwich plate O-ring whenever the billet oil filter sandwich plate is removed.
- Thoroughly clean the thread extension and mating threads before installation.
- Apply Blue Loctite 242 or an equivalent medium-strength threadlocker.
- Torque the oil filter thread extension to 35 ft-lbs.
- Check the thread extension torque each time the engine oil filter is changed.
Warning: Incorrect fitment, improper installation, or insufficient torque may allow the thread extension or sandwich plate assembly to loosen. Confirm compatibility, installation, and final torque before operating the engine.

U.S. Shipping
We may occasionally use a shipping carrier different from the one selected at checkout to improve delivery speed, protect fragile items, or reduce overall shipping and handling costs, including packaging and processing.
International Shipping
International shipping charges are calculated at checkout and do not include customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or tariffs imposed by your country upon import. These fees are not controlled by Insane Diesel and vary by location and local regulations.
Customers are solely responsible for all import-related charges. We strongly recommend contacting your local customs office or postal service in advance to understand applicable fees before placing an order.

Return & Refund Policy
General Return Policy
Due to the nature of aftermarket automotive components, returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, incorrect ordering, or compatibility issues. Customers are responsible for verifying vehicle compatibility prior to purchase. We encourage reviewing installation guides and confirming pressure and return port locations before ordering.
Products that have been installed, used, modified, contaminated with oil or fluids, or show signs of installation are not eligible for return or refund, except where required by law.
Any return request must be approved in advance. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
Damaged, Defective or Missing Items
All products are inspected prior to shipment. If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 7 business days of delivery and provide clear photos of the damage and packaging.
Only unused items in original condition are eligible for replacement or refund. Upon inspection and confirmation, you may choose between a replacement or a full refund.
Missing components must be reported within 15 days of the delivery date. Each order is packed individually to help ensure all components are included and to maintain quality control. A packing slip/manifest is included with every shipment; please review it upon delivery to verify that all components were received.
Approved Returns & Refunds
In rare cases where a return is approved (outside of damage on arrival), requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
Approved refunds will be issued minus:
- Return shipping costs
- Original outbound shipping costs (even if free shipping was offered)
- Payment processing fees charged by Shopify (approximately 2.4–2.5% + $0.30)
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after returned items are received and inspected.
