2019 GMC 3500. I ordered a universal kit. Works perfectly with banks L5P oil pan, using the 1/8 hole as the return from the oil filter kit. So far, 1000 miles and the oil is still Golden/clear/clean. Very impressed.

As a self-described DIYer, I watched a couple of Insane's install videos and installed it myself in about an hour or so plus another 30 minutes or so to change and clean up the old engine oil. My Sprinter is a 2017 OM642 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel first sold in 2018. I watched the "Dave's" video linked to Insane's website. At least for my Sprinter, the bypass filter could not be installed on the passenger fender well as was done in the Dave's video. Rather, I installed it on the horizontal sheet metal surface of the driver's side inner fender, behind the ECU, and in front of the fire wall which provides easy access. I used two 3/8" "nutserts" to hold the filter bracket.

High quality product/fittings, Easy install.

Great product, I installed kit in Sprinter Van OM-654 diesel engine. Not bad to install, had to use copper crush ring instead of supplied o-ring for return pan line. I decided to put a skid plate on to protect the return line that runs to bottom of oil pan. I couldn't belive how much soot was in the oil at only 1000 miles. It's nice to know this filter is catching the finer particulate that standard filters would not catch

Easy to install

Very easy process to analyze your engine oil.
The kit came with everything you needed to collect the oil and sent out with prepaid envelopes.

Easy install. Took about an hour. Hardest part was threading the hoses into the fittings as the metal braiding can get frayed when cut. Other than that it was an easy install.

Installed easily enough, plenty of videos on how to do it. I will be sending samples as time goes on but for now I’m happy with my purchase. Quality parts and hose. Easy enough for a diy-er. Take your time piecing together the hoses and you will be fine.

This is a very high quality housing and filter unit. Based on all my reviews this is the best. I also bought the cooling radiator and fan unit. Very nice package indeed.

Solid product. Filter and housing are stout. Very well made. Installed on a 2020 Ram 2500. A must have to protect the roller cams from failure.
