Engineered to protect the Ford 10R140 transmission where factory filtration ends.
The Ford 10R140 10-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission relies on extremely precise hydraulic control through shift solenoids, clutch-control valves, and a highly sensitive valve body. Over time, microscopic wear debris and fine particulate contamination circulating in the transmission fluid can interfere with these components—contributing to harsh or erratic shifts, delayed engagement, and accelerated internal wear.
The Insane Diesel 10R140 Bypass Transmission Oil Filter Kit is engineered specifically for 2020–present Ford Super Duty trucks and other gas engines equipped with the 10R140 transmission. It provides continuous fine-particle filtration beyond what the factory system is designed to capture, helping reduce contamination load and support long-term transmission reliability under heavy towing, high load, and extended service conditions.

Oil Return Options:
• Aftermarket Banks or PPE Transmission Pan Oil Return
Compatible with Banks 35170-B Ram-Air Transmission Pan or the PPE Transmission Pan Part #328053500
- 1 Return port fitting (AN06-06FJ90 + AN06-22MMx1.5 + 1/8 Orifice)
- 8ft hose to be cut to your preference (LW06BK)
• Factory Return Compatibility Notice: Our bypass transmission fluid filter kits may be installed without an aftermarket transmission pan only if the transmission is equipped with two separate service ports—either on the transmission pan or the transmission housing—consisting of a dipstick and a fill plug, or a fill plug and a dedicated level-check port. Transmissions that use a single combined fill/level port are not compatible with this return method and require an aftermarket transmission pan with a dedicated return port.
If your transmission includes two separate service ports as described above, filtered fluid may be returned through the factory fill port without upgrading to an aftermarket pan. In this case, please contact us with the fill plug fitting size so we can supply the correct return fitting.

GENERAL RETURN POLICY:
Please review the installation guide or video before purchasing, and confirm the pressure and return port locations for your engine. We're happy to provide guidance if needed. Returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse or if the kit doesn’t match your engine model, so please double-check compatibility before ordering. If you encounter any issues, contact us — we’re committed to finding a solution.
DAMAGED PRODUCT RETURNS:
All products are inspected before shipping. If your product arrives damaged, please report it with photos within 7 business days of delivery. Only unused, damaged items in their original condition are eligible for replacement or refund. If a product is confirmed to be defective or damaged, you can choose between a replacement or full refund after inspection.
CANCELLATIONS AND OTHER REFUND POLICIES:
In rare cases where a product qualifies for a return (outside of damage on arrival and within 30 days of delivery), a refund will be issued minus return shipping costs and the Shopify transaction fee (2.4%-2.5% + 30¢). Although we *may* offer free shipping during promotions, the original shipping cost will also be deducted from your refund.
