Regarding 2019-Older Vehicles:
Thread in elbow adaptor to the vacated sensor port using thread sealer. The wiring clamp will need to be pried open and loom will have to be temporarily moved out of the way. Then thread “T” Fitting into elbow as shown. Thread sensor into “T” fitting as well. It should look like this when finished:

Regarding 2020-Newer Vehicles:
Insert male port of tee fitting into the oil pressure sensor port. Securing the center fitting and the oil pressure sensor onto the tee fitting first may help simplify the process. Important note:  The male thread of the tee fitting and the oil pressure sensor are metric threads, they will fully insert into the female ports using a washer to create a seal (thread sealant is optional here) . The center branch fitting is tapered and was not designed to fully insert into the female port, with proper thread sealant the tapered thread will create a seal without needed to fully be inserted into the center branch port.

Install EXTREME Filter BRACKET onto body near to stock oil filter, just inside the running board and forward. Using the bracket for a drilling template, be sure to find a location where drilling the two bolt holes needed do not cause damage to the door or other parts. Attach the bracket to the body using the supplied hardware bolts/nuts.

Install the EXTREME Filter housing hose adapter fittings into both the “IN” and “OUT” ports using thread sealer or Teflon tape as firmly and deeply as possible.

 Typical Mount Location

Ford 6.7 Bypass Oil Filter Installation

Install EXTREME Filter into bracket using supplied hardware as pictured above.

Install 3’ hose and route from stock oil filter housing “T” to “IN” port (center most port) fitting on bottom of the EXTREME Oil Filter housing. Remember to avoid sharp edges, hot surfaces, and moving parts and leaving a little slack for engine movement when routing the hose.

Install 7’ line from the new Oil Filler Cap, avoiding sharp edges, hot surfaces, and moving parts. The best route is usually to the back of the engine compartment, over the top of the engine, and down the passenger fender well. Use ties as necessary to secure safely. Install the end remaining hose end onto the EXTREME Filter housing “OUT” port fitting (nearest edge of filter).

Verify all fittings are tight and hoses are safely routed, secured, and protected. Run engine for 10-30 seconds and check for leaks. Top off oil as necessary (the EXTREME filter increases oil capacity about 1qt).

Once it is verified there are no leaks, run engine to temperature and under load (around the block) and verify no engine leaks once engine operating temperature and pressures are reached.

Congratulations! You now have the best oil filter you can get!
