The ZF PowerLine 8AP 1080 PN 8-speed automatic transmission used in 2025+ RAM Heavy Duty trucks relies on electronically controlled hydraulic pressure, high-precision clutch packs, and an integrated valve body to manage torque output from the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine.
Like all modern automatic transmissions, the PowerLine transmission depends on clean, stable transmission fluid for clutch modulation, shift timing accuracy, and internal lubrication. Over time, microscopic clutch material and fine wear debris remain suspended in the transmission fluid, where they can affect hydraulic control precision and long-term component durability.
The Insane Diesel ZF PowerLine 8AP 1080 PN Bypass Transmission Fluid Filter Kit is engineered specifically for 2025–present RAM Heavy Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins and ZF PowerLine 8-speed transmission. It provides continuous fine-particle filtration beyond what the factory system is designed to capture, helping reduce contamination load and support long-term transmission reliability in towing, high-load, and commercial-duty operating conditions.

- 1 Pressure port fitting (AN06-10mmx1.0 + AN06-06FJ90)
- 1 Return Port: (AN06-18mmx1.5 + AN06-06FJ)
- 1 1/4 Orifice (1/4 NPT restrictor with 1mm port installed on the housing “IN” port Restricts 120 psi to 1.25 gpm)

Shipping Policy
U.S. Shipping
We may occasionally use a shipping carrier different from the one selected at checkout to improve delivery speed, protect fragile items, or reduce overall shipping and handling costs, including packaging and processing.
International Shipping
International shipping charges are calculated at checkout and do not include customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or tariffs imposed by your country upon import. These fees are not controlled by Insane Diesel and vary by location and local regulations.
Customers are solely responsible for all import-related charges. We strongly recommend contacting your local customs office or postal service in advance to understand applicable fees before placing an order.

Return & Refund Policy
General Return Policy
Due to the nature of aftermarket automotive components, returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, incorrect ordering, or compatibility issues. Customers are responsible for verifying vehicle compatibility prior to purchase. We encourage reviewing installation guides and confirming pressure and return port locations before ordering.
Products that have been installed, used, modified, contaminated with oil or fluids, or show signs of installation are not eligible for return or refund, except where required by law.
Any return request must be approved in advance. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
Damaged, Defective or Missing Items
All products are inspected prior to shipment. If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 7 business days of delivery and provide clear photos of the damage and packaging.
Only unused items in original condition are eligible for replacement or refund. Upon inspection and confirmation, you may choose between a replacement or a full refund.
Missing components must be reported within 15 days of the delivery date. Each order is packed individually to help ensure all components are included and to maintain quality control. A packing slip/manifest is included with every shipment; please review it upon delivery to verify that all components were received.
Approved Returns & Refunds
In rare cases where a return is approved (outside of damage on arrival), requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
Approved refunds will be issued minus:
- Return shipping costs
- Original outbound shipping costs (even if free shipping was offered)
- Payment processing fees charged by Shopify (approximately 2.4–2.5% + $0.30)
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after returned items are received and inspected.

Anodized Finish:
Our housings feature a high-quality anodized finish. Because anodized colors can photograph differently under various lighting conditions, the color shown online may appear slightly different in person. Minor tone, shading, or finish variation can also occur naturally from the anodizing process and is a normal characteristic of this type of premium finish.
Product Images:
Product images, especially kit photos, may show earlier versions of certain components. Some parts have since been updated to newer, improved generations and may appear slightly than images. These are the main components that have changed:
• Oil filler caps no longer come with brass swivel center. Replaced with new generation cap that works with our upgraded swivel fittings.
• Fittings in images may have changed slightly as we rolled out with improved versions for simplified installation.
• Steel or brass fittings in images may have changed to our new black fittings to reduce the need for multiple connection points.
• Some mounting brackets have been updated for easier and more convenient access.
