Allison 5/6 Speed Transmission Bypass Oil Filter Kit (2002-2019)
Engineered to protect the Allison 5- and 6-speed transmission where factory filtration ends.
The Allison 1000 automatic transmission relies on precise hydraulic control through electronically actuated solenoids, clutch-control circuits, and a high-capacity valve body to manage torque output from the Duramax diesel engine. Over time, clutch material, wear debris, and fine particulate contamination remain suspended in the transmission fluid, where they can interfere with hydraulic control accuracy, contribute to harsh or delayed shifts, and accelerate internal component wear.
The Insane Diesel Allison 5/6-Speed Bypass Transmission Fluid Filter Kit is engineered specifically for 2002–2019 Chevrolet and GMC HD trucks equipped with the Allison 1000 transmission. It provides continuous fine-particle filtration beyond what the factory system is designed to capture, helping reduce contamination load and support long-term transmission reliability in towing, high-load, and elevated-temperature operating conditions.

- 2 In/Out fittings (AN06-04MS90)
- 1 Mounting bracket with hardware (ZBRCKX12)
- 1 Pressure port fitting (AN06-02MS90)
- 1 1/8 Orifice (1/8 npt restrictor with 1mm port. Restricts 120 psi to 1.25 gpm)

• Aftermarket Banks or PPE Transmission Pan Oil Return
Requires Banks SKU #35146-B or the PPE Transmission Pan Number PPE 128051000
- 1 Return port fitting (AN06-02MS90)
- 8ft hose to be cut to your preference (LW06BK)
• Factory Return Compatibility Notice: Our bypass transmission fluid filter kits may be installed without an aftermarket transmission pan only if the transmission is equipped with two separate service ports—either on the transmission pan or the transmission housing—consisting of a dipstick and a fill plug, or a fill plug and a dedicated level-check port. Transmissions that use a single combined fill/level port are not compatible with this return method and require an aftermarket transmission pan with a dedicated return port.
If your transmission includes two separate service ports as described above, filtered fluid may be returned through the factory fill port without upgrading to an aftermarket pan. In this case, please contact us with the fill plug fitting size so we can supply the correct return fitting.

Shipping Policy
U.S. Shipping
We may occasionally use a shipping carrier different from the one selected at checkout to improve delivery speed, protect fragile items, or reduce overall shipping and handling costs, including packaging and processing.
International Shipping
International shipping charges are calculated at checkout and do not include customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or tariffs imposed by your country upon import. These fees are not controlled by Insane Diesel and vary by location and local regulations.
Customers are solely responsible for all import-related charges. We strongly recommend contacting your local customs office or postal service in advance to understand applicable fees before placing an order.

Return & Refund Policy
General Return Policy
Due to the nature of aftermarket automotive components, returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, incorrect ordering, or compatibility issues. Customers are responsible for verifying vehicle compatibility prior to purchase. We encourage reviewing installation guides and confirming pressure and return port locations before ordering.
Products that have been installed, used, modified, contaminated with oil or fluids, or show signs of installation are not eligible for return or refund, except where required by law.
Any return request must be approved in advance. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
Damaged, Defective or Missing Items
All products are inspected prior to shipment. If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 7 business days of delivery and provide clear photos of the damage and packaging.
Only unused items in original condition are eligible for replacement or refund. Upon inspection and confirmation, you may choose between a replacement or a full refund.
Missing components must be reported within 15 days of the delivery date. Each order is packed individually to help ensure all components are included and to maintain quality control. A packing slip/manifest is included with every shipment; please review it upon delivery to verify that all components were received.
Approved Returns & Refunds
In rare cases where a return is approved (outside of damage on arrival), requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
Approved refunds will be issued minus:
- Return shipping costs
- Original outbound shipping costs (even if free shipping was offered)
- Payment processing fees charged by Shopify (approximately 2.4–2.5% + $0.30)
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after returned items are received and inspected.
